Built in the 1960′s the Lodge was “the” place to dine & dance in the area. In true Magdalena character, it was also a “rough and tumble” place . The bar, now the Fireside Room, held weekly dances
& served fine steaks. From the 70′s into the 1990′s there were several changes which transformed the business into the current day High Country Lodge.
In visiting Magdalena, you step back in time to a world that stood still in the 1930′s.
Our restaurant offers traditional tastes of the area.
Our rooms reflect the eclectic style of the 1980′s.
